Data Deletion Policy

Uptime Monitor Inactivity

To ensure optimal distribution of resources and maintain high quality of service for all users, Layeredy Software implements an inactivity policy for Uptime monitors.

Free accounts must have at least one login every 60 days to keep Uptime monitors active. If no login is detected within a 60-day window, any active Uptime monitors will be automatically disabled. You can learn more about disabled status on our Uptime status page.

Logging back into your account will allow you to re-enable your monitors through the dashboard.

Account Retention

Accounts that show no login activity for a period of over 3 years may be subject to suspension or permanent deletion at our discretion.

Prior to any permanent account deletion due to inactivity, we will attempt to notify the user via the email address associated with the account to provide an opportunity to retain the account and its data.

Monitor statistics - Uptime

Users on the free plan will only have monitor statistics saved for 30 days. All premium plans remember statistics for the duration of the subscription. (See our blog post)

Uploaded assets - Docs & Changes

Uploaded assets count towards your/your project owner's limits. If you or your project owner exceed these limits, uploading will be disabled. In the event of plan cancellation or downgrade, uploaded assets will be deleted after 60 days to match your new plan's limits.

Intentional Account Deletion

Users can choose to delete their accounts at any time. Upon request, all associated data, including uploaded assets and monitor statistics, will be permanently removed from our systems in accordance with our privacy policy.

If you chose to delete your account, you can never recover it.

You can register a new account at any time.

If your account has been suspended before you requested deletion, we will retain your email address to prevent future sign ups. All other user data will be permanently removed. Learn more about account suspensions.
