We started as just Owehost, a budget server hosting platform; we spent our time working on having the best user experience possible.
Feburary 2022
Owehost takes off
We had just spent the last year-ish working and improving on Owehost. We hit 200 active customers in 2022.
June 2023
We're a LLC now!
We became a real company by registering as a LLC (limited liability company) in the State of Ohio as Owehost (now Layeredy) LLC.
April 2024
Expansion and more projects
We started working on Layeredy as more than just a server host, starting progress on Encoded and Average bot. This marks the point in which we switched from only hosting to being a general IT company.
June 2024
Encoded releases
We've unveiled Encoded, a forum where developers can connect, collaborate, and buy/sell tech-related products and services.
August 2024
Average releases
We've released Average, a 100% free Discord bot that is designed to be quick and easy to learn
October 2024
Owehost closes
Owehost has been discontinued as of October 16th, 2024 and will be fully closed on January 16th, 2025 (marking it's 4 year anniversiary)
