You cannot use external images on Docs

As announced on May 21st, 2026, external image support in Docs was scheduled to end on June 10th, 2026. That date has now passed and the migration period has officially closed. Any articles still relying on externally linked images will no longer display them

If your Docs content is affected, you'll need to re-upload those images directly to Layeredy to restore them. We've put together a step-by-step guide to make the process as straightforward as possible.

Why the change? Externally hosted images can become unavailable at any time, which can impact the reliability and appearance of your content. Uploading directly to Layeredy ensures your images are always served consistently and securely.
